Leona Lewis wears bizarre bow top and lip top

Yesterday we asked for your thoughts on Leona Lewis's new blunt fringe - but for many, it wasn't the X Factor winner's new 'do that grabbed your attention, it was her rather unusual top.

And while many weren't impressed with Ms Lewis's lippy look, she clearly has a new style obsession on her hands, as she stepped out in a second version of the unusual outfit the very next night.

Whereas on Tuesday she opted for pink lips and a black pencil skirt, at an Essence party last night she went for a variation on the theme, rocking a bow-front crop top and electric blue skirt.

Rumour has it Leona designed the ensembles herself, so she's clearly been busy with the sewing machine and whipped up a whole batch!

Agh, I can't decide! The shape of both dresses really flatter her figure, she has an amazing body, but I just HATE the lips and bow detailing

I don't like the detailing on her tops but the outfits certainly show off her amazing body. I'd say mission accomplished though - she's being talked about and you can't help but admire her gorgeous figure. To the gym for me!

I think this looks really cool. Good on Leona for trying something new, and she's got funky hair and a fab figure. I think it's flattering, and also a fun outfit. At the end of the day she's an entertainer - so her wardrobe should reflect that. Nice to see some fun fashion for a change!

Is it my imagination or has been sucked in by the Skinny Club? She looks tiny. I'm sure she never used to be that thin.

The outfits are a PR stunt to get people talking, which is exactly what we're doing....we're all suckerrrrrrssss.

I think both tops are horrible on her. Lovely looking girl, great figure..but those tops are a no-no. Alexandra Burke could pull it off, but not Leoni.

Agree with the comment above that it's a PR stunt and it's worked because here we are talking about her.

I LOVE THEM BOTH, esp the bow top. Hair is just a bonus. She has a fantastic figure and is the the media. Last thing you want to do is fade into the background. Top marks!

Whats with the hair..fringe ok but the colour and stuff..looks like a lot of others now..Im sorry but she just looks weird now...and the mouth and upper lip..look weird..has she been sampling fillers or suchlike..where is the beautiful Leona gone.

overall i dont like the design. its not flattering for her. she has an amazing figure so for this NOT to suit her it must couldnt be that good and unfortauntely it would just look ridiculous on anybody else. i think the IDEA is good - she's definitely trying something new. But its too much. Id like to see the bow/lips much more subtle in design so it doesnt look so plastic.

She looks amazing. Who cares if it doesn't reflect her what she sings, because quite frankly at last she is dressing on trend, in style and really demonstrating this seasons colour blocking.....

She's obviously trying to attract a different audience perhaps be a little more modern and i think she looks absolutely STUNNING!!!!! Go on Leona.... i'm not even a big fan but she gets my vote :)

Don't mind the tops, but what on earth is going on with her face???!!! I noticed the ugly upper lip immediately. Plus somehow her sunken cheeks make her look a decade older. And the hair??? Looks like a wig.

I think she, like so many other female artists now, is trying a bit too hard to be weird and kooky and Lady Gaga-ish with her fashion. It suits her figure and stuff, yeah, but it just seems a bit wannabe to me.
