Ah, the ever shy and retiring Katie Price - you never let us down...

She may be fresh from announcing her split from hubbie, Alex Reid, but the one-woman publicity machine isn't one to slink into hiding. Instead, she hit a book signing for her latest tome and ensured all eyes were on her, in a rather unusual hat.

The scary hairy item in question was part afro, part head-warmer, adding a Tina Turner edge to Ms P's dress-down styling. Add a fur stole into the mix and Katie was looking more animal kingdom than lady author.

Of course, there were the obligatory hints that Katie's going through a tough time - gone were the plunging necklines and skintight catsuits, and she covered up in joggers, moon boots and a fur shrug.

Now it might not live up to our personal favourite Katie fashion moment - remember that space lady iPod enseble? - but it's certainly a classic!

Thankfully we still live in a semi-free democratic country, (although judging by the number of self-appointed people who have become the thought-style-speech police,who complain about everything and anything, you would think we are living in a Police state). It makes no difference to me how the woman dresses but I was always brought up not to make a comment unless it is an outfit that appeals to my sense of style. She is in the business of getting into the newspapers and magazines and if that means dressing like a Yeti then good luck to her. It will certainly guarantee the column inches she so longs for. And for those who dont like her ..... turn the page, switch off. You are not under obligation to like her.

First of all, that's not style, that's chavy! She & Cheryl should become friends & exchange tarty, tacky tattoos & clothes! I can't stand Jordan & think she's totally pointless! What is she actually famous for except for getting her t**ts out? How can she be a role model for exposing her body & having no self respect whatsoever! Wish she'd move to Antarctica & stay there!!

I think she looks great. I doesn't matter if shes had a bit of surgery here and there. She's very insecure that's why she has it done. If the way she now looks makes her feel good about her self then that's great - and I LOVE the hat. It really suits her, most people wouldn't be able to carry it off. And I don't understand why all the bitching especially at this hard time of her personal life. If you don't like her then look at someone you do like and say something nice. She doesn't comment on your looks.

Cheryl is nothing like this stupid excuse of a woman, she looks just like she is and thats an idiot who is willing to go out dressed in anything just so she stays in the news. Its about time she disappeared anywhere but here.

I think cheryl has worked hard to get where she is now whilst katie has just exploited her body, I know who I would want my children to look up to, it would be a lot easier not to look at her if her pictures wernt plastered everywhere, it seems to me that many people with no morals make loads of money while the decent people have to work hard to get where they are, the country has gone mad

katies unique,she lavishes it up on everything,shes a great girl,shes a fantastic mum,she works her butt off,she provides and shes very pretty without all the slap so she def doesnt need it she loves dressing it up cause shes a women!!.
