Victoria Beckham and Bar Rafaeli had a matching moment, when they both stepped out in the same Roberto Cavalli dress - a whopping four years apart.

When stars are spotted wearing the same dress, the sightings are usually a mere matter of weeks, or maybe months apart - but in the case of this style snap, there's a slightly larger time difference between the two...

Victoria Beckham was first to debut the opulent high-neck gown, to the BAMBI Awards in Germany way back in 2006.

The stylista teamed her standout frock with strappy black sandals, that much-copied 'Pob' (remember the Posh Bob?) hairstyle, and her familiar practiced hand-on-hip pose.

Four years later, and the black-and-gold gown was given it's second high-profile appearance, when Bar Rafaeli donned it to the Roberto Cavalli 40th Anniversary party in Paris.

The model left her lace-insert dress to do all the talking, styling it with nothing but a softly swept updo and barely-there make-up.

As much as I love VB, I think Bar makes the dress look that little bit more classic and romantic, so she wins for me.

Bar def gets it in this one...aside from having a slightly fuller figure which compliments the dress, i also like that i can't see what shoes she's wearing, no doubt it'll be something nice and sparkly.

Personally I do not think you can put a pin between them, way too close to call, they seem on a par in their own individual ways to me.

personally I think the dress is AWFUL! It doesn't do either of the any favors. Bar win if I had to choose as Victoria's head looks like it's superimposed on the photo. The high neck just doesn't suit her

I think the oriental style works best with paler skin - maybe Posh would do it differently 4 years on but Bar looks best in this comparison.
