Excitement doesn't even begin to cover this one...
'Lanvin will bring to H&M a luxurios French tradition that is also modern and playful,' says H&M creative adviser Margareta van den Bosch.
'It is very much a Lanvin collection, using their cut and tailoring, with lots of focus on form and details.'
Two collections are planned, for both women and men - so your other half can get in on the fashion madness too.
'H&M approached us to collaborate,' explains Lanvin artistic director Alber Elbaz. 'To see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less.'
'I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury, rather than Lanvin going public.'
As yet no specific collection details have been released, but the full range will be revealed on 2nd November, before hitting 200 H&M stores worldwide on Tuesday 23rd November.
And if the recent collaborations with Matthew Williamson, Jimmy Choo and Sonia Rykiel are anything to go by, we're predicting shopper mayhem come sale date...
Handbags at the ready, ladies.
