Check out this positively genius behind-the-scenes video of Lady Gaga having a laugh on her recent Vanity Fair cover shoot.

The brilliant ShowStudio vid shows the Lady larking about on set for photographer Nick Knight - pulling some serious poses, bringing out the bizarre dance moves and just generally, well, having fun.



And for someone who always aims to maintain an air of mystery about her, it's a refreshing change to just see her letting loose and having a good time.

But having come under fire for her Vanity Fair interview, in which she admits to occasional drug use, it looks as though things are now moving in a decidedly more positive direction for the eccentric star...



It was announced yesterday that the 24-year-old has been nominated for a record-breaking 13 MTV Video Music Awards at the 2010 awards ceremony - more than any other artist in history.

'I'm so honoured for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artist in MTV history,' she said after hearing the news.

'Ironically, I'm even more proud it's an unucky number: 13.'

'God put me on Earth for three reasons,' she added. 'To make loud music, gay videos and cause a damn raucous. Thank you, MTV!'
