From Gossip Girl to Material Girl: Taylor Momsen has just been announced as the face of Lourdes and Madonna's new clothing collection.

Having conquered the worlds of film, music and modelling, it was only a matter of time before Madonna turned her hand to fashion.

The megastar is making her first foray into designing with a debut clothing collection aimed at teenagers - the aptly named Material Girl - which is co-designed by her daughter Lourdes.

And it seems as though the pair are Gossip Girl fans, as they've enlisted the help of Little J to front the brand.

Consisting of clothing, footwear, bags and jewellery - and with prices ranging from a very affordable $12 to $40 - the collection is set to to launch Stateside exclusively in Macy's and online at Macys.com in August.

But it doesn't end there. Oh no. Come 2011 and Madonna plans to extend her range to include beauty and fragrance, so soon the youngsters can all start dressing, looking and smelling like the queen of pop - or her daughter, to be more precise.

dear sir are madam, i think madonna and lourders will make a huge success in the fashain of clothing as they both know how to look good, madonna has very good style in clothing i would love to buy her collection in clothes she has very good dress sence.
