Twilight Eclipse engagement ring goes on sale!

Ok Twi-hards, this one is just for you! In possibly the most obsessive example we've spotted of Twilight merchandise, you can now own an exact replica of the engagement ring that Edward Cullen presents to Bella Swan in Eclipse. 

There's going to be alot of excited R-Patz fans out there....

The final Eclipse trailer gives us the very first glimpse of the ring that Robert Pattinson's vamp presents to Kristen Stewart's Bella, and now everyone can buy it!

Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Saga, teamed up with the Infinite Jewellery Company to design the band, based of her description of the ring in Eclipse.

In the book, she described: 'The face was a long oval, set with slanting rows of glittering round stones. The band was gold - delicate and narrow. The gold made a fragile web around the diamonds.'

On sale in the US, the ring reatils for a whopping $1,979, but devotees can also choose a diamond-free version for $35.
 

While we're sure there are alot of ladies out there who'd love to recreate their very own Pattinson proposal, we're not quite sure how the man in their life would feel...

I personally dont like the ring, I feel its too big and clumsy looking. A more delicate ring would have looked better on Bellas tiny hands.

I always found it strange that Stephenie Meyer would come up with the idea of Edward giving Bella a ring that was so big. I mean all through the books she is described as being shy and not liking attention. She doesn't sound like she would go for something as ostentatious as that. It doesn't fit her personality. Btw I hate this ring. I think it's just ugly.

that ring looks nothing like the one in the movie! For one it's a chrome base and very tiny diamonds, it's a beautifully designed ring and yet they created a horrendous replica!! Gold with gigantic diamonds = uglyj girls these days don't like gold most are silver gals specially the lil goth wannabe's... They could have done a better replica I am disappointed!
