Beyonce Knowles and Blake Lively - who wore Dolce & Gabbana best?

Not many would be brave enough to rock Dolce & Gabbana's miniscule lace dress - but Blake Lively and Beyonce Knowles stepped up to the sartorial challenge, and utterly wowed in the process.

Both share the killer curves and picture-perfect pins necessary for the barely-there design, but added subtle elements to give it their own style spin.

Gossip Girl Blake gave the Dolce dress its red carpet debut back in December 2009, at the Sherlock Holmes premiere. Letting her va-va-voom frock take centre stage, she wisely left her legs and décolletage bare, but added a smattering of gems - a chunky emerald ring and glittering chandelier earring. For her shoes, she opted for sparking courts.

Onto Bey, and she chose the design to perform with Alicia Keys at her Madison Avenue concert. Like Ms Lively, she left her signature locks loose with full bouncing curls, but added some fierce studded platforms to the mix.

Glittering diamond bracelets and drop earrings completed her on-stage styling.

Beyonce wore it best for sure. Blake looks beautiful but a dress like this needs some serious booty curves.

Yeah, Beyonce hands down, caus she picked the perfect style of shoe for the dress and it looks so much better with the darker skin tone behind it.

Blake! she looks amazing in it!

i can see what Beyonce was trying to do combining the shoes with it to make it a bit edgier, but it doesn't really work very well.
