Anya Hindmarch turns pub landlady!

Anya Hindmarch might be best known for creating must-have handbags and stylish accessories, but next week she'll be taking on a rather different role, as pub landlady!

The Bag & Bottle, more usually known to regulars as The Star Tavern on Belgrave Mews, is a week-long collaboration between Anya and Fuller's London Pride, serving up traditional pub food, famous ales and quite possibly the odd celebrity barmaid or two.

The fashion pack get first dibs when The Bag & Bottle opens its doors on Monday 22 March, but from next Wednesday the rest of us can pile in too with reservations already being taken for lunch and dinner tables (simply email thebagandbottle@anyahindmarch.com to bag a spot).

'I have always loved anything that is traditional and British and what could be more so than the iconic British pub,' says Anya. 'Being landlady for a week and giving this pub a makeover is like a dream come true for me.'
