Who wore it best? Kristen Vs. Melissa
Rex Features
Today's style snap takes one J Mendel white dress, two fashionistas - Kristen Stewart and Melissa George - and a very different take on the styling.
First up, Ms Stewart slipped into the little white number for a Twilight: New Moon photocall in Paris. An uncharacteristically girly choice for the starlet, she made her dress the focus, adding merely leg-lengthening nude peep-toes to complete her look.
Fast-forward three months, and Melissa George chose the very same style for the Calvin Klein show at New York Fashion Week.
Giving it a different spin, she covered up with a crisp white blazer, and accessorised with metallic accents - ankle-strap courts, a neat box bag and a chunky glittering ring.

So there we have it fashion fans - who is your style queen? Let us know your verdict in the comments box below.

I actually think Kristen works this better. You can't see the detail on the dress when it's hidden away under a jacket, and I much prefer the nude shoes.

I like the overall look Melissa has wearing the dress, I think Kristen could have worn a necklace and done something better with her hair to give a more polished look overall as I think it spoils the style of the dress

I prefer Kristen in this dress but she always seems really uncomfortable getting her picture taken in these situations. She's beautiful and just needs to look a bit more confident.
Comment by Lynsie on February 24 13:48
I don't think the dress suits either of them

I would've said Kristen because I prefer the dress not hidden under a jacket, but I don't like Kristen's posture or the fact that she always look so gloomy on the red carpet. Would it kill her to smile... just once?
Comment by Frida on February 24 14:57
Neither looks good. Melissa manages to look like a toga party gone wrong as the skirt loop droops wrongly on her. This is not a dress to cover up. Both could do better. Kristen should wear a necklace and probably both should wear tights to smooth the knobly knee effect
Comment by Helen on February 24 15:03
I think Melissa looks better, more casual but it works. Kristen's hair looks limp greasy and lifeless, and her pose is so awkward. Looks like someone's forcing her against her will to wear such a lovely dress, what a shame.
Comment by George on February 24 19:06
I love that Melissa made it her own and I like the mix of a strong blazer with the floaty dress. It's more modern and fun.
Comment by Charlene on February 24 19:22
Melissa rocked it. On Kristen, it's a snoozer and seriously dude - she needs to get her red carpet pose thing together.

I PREFER KRISTEN

I'm not 100% sure about Melissa's jacket over the dress (perhaps she was cold), but she has the confidence to own this outfit and her hair and jewellery look stunning. Kristen's hair and stance/confidence seriously let her down.
Comment by Melanie on February 28 10:43
Yeah, think Kristen needs a chunky piece of statement jewellery round her neck, but think the shoes are great, and think Melissa should have worn a black boyfriend jacket, the white is too much with the pale dress AND her pale skin, plus think her shoes could have been alot more contemporary!
