Asda launch £200 all-in wedding wardrobe
By Rachel Holmes on Thursday 18 February 2010
Good news for brides on a budget. George at Asda have annouced the launch of a new bridal collection that is so cheap you'll be able to kit out your whole wedding party for under £200.
The collection is available from May but if you think you'll want to buy your wedding gear from a supermarket, you'll have to register your interest now.
You've got nothing to lose, because the prices are staggeringly low. A strapless floor-length satin or chiffon ivory wedding dress with lace or diamante detail will set you back £60 - most dresses are more likely to cost around the £1000 mark - and for two magenta adult bridesmaid's dresses you'll only pay £56. That's £28 each.
HIGH STREET WEDDING DRESSES FOR BUDGET BRIDES
It's not just the ladies that are catered for either. A groom's suit, shirt and tie costs a mere £46. The collection has been designed by a specialist team, dedicated to ensuring fit, fabric and style are paramount for each of the garments.
There are, of course, some great high-street options out there for bridesmaid's and wedding dresses, but if you want to save yourself some trouble and buy everything in one fell swoop, its definitely worth taking a look.
Interested brides-to-be can only register for one week from Sunday 14 February to Sunday 21 February. Do so by visiting asda.com/yourasda.
