It's a case of the master Vs. the muse in today's who wore it best: Victoria Beckham and Blake Lively might have both worn the same dress from Mrs B's eponymous collection, but does the designer have the edge over the actress rumoured to be her label's new face?

Unusually for Posh, she wasn't the first to be spotted out-and-about in a style from her collection, but that accolade went to the lovely Ms Lively. Rumoured to be starring in the next ad campaign for the label, she has donned an array of VB dresses, and chose this thigh-skimming number back in October for a New York benefit.

Showing off those picture perfect pins, the Gossip Girl teamed her mini with towering purple platforms, and kept the rest of her look simple, adding cluster earrings, a raspberry pout and a chic chignon.

For la Beckham, out and about last night in Paris, she teetered on signature vertiginous courts, and added edge with smoky cat's eyes and a striking slicked-back high twisted bun.

I thought that Blake would win this fair and square, but I actually think it looks better on Posh. I think the design goes better with the twisty topknot than with Blake's plain hair.

Definitely Blake... she looks far more natural than Victoria. Poor Mrs B is so think she looks almost angular, and that hair pulled back so tight? Definitely not a good look!

DEFINITELY BLAKE - SHE LOOKS YOUNG, RADIANT, NATURAL AND 'LIVELY'. POSH LOOKS UNCOMFORTABLE, STIFF AND BASICALLY NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR A WOMAN OF 35.

Blake by a mile. Had Victoria been sporting that shaggy bob she showed off recently she'd look a lot better - hair scraped back that tight is never a good look.

They both look lovely! I think Blake's curves give her the edge though... Love Victoria Beckham's topknot though. Sooooo cool x

Blake, looks FANTASTIC.

Most of all she look healthy, natural and is glowing.

Mrs Beckham looks harsh and her legs look like a 5 year olds. Posh is not a role model I want for my daughter, it's about time she took a good look at herself.

How can you compare THE DESIGNER with her muse?? If anything they BOTH LOOKED GREAT in their own way! And to the poster here who commented that Victoria's calf looked bigger than her thighs..please look again - she was pictured 100% in an awkward angle having got out from the car and have no time to pose or straighten her legs..therefore we can't see her fully in that dress compared to Blake! And obviously Victoria has made that dress custom made for Blake for her to wear, don't you think? Or it is THE FACT that Victoria MADE THE DRESS FOR WOMEN WITH BLAKE'S BODY, not hers!!

Poor old Victoria is far too severe! A dress like that, with pale skin, strong makeup and schoolteacher hair - there's nothing to soften the look. She looks like an alien.

V knows how it should be worn but on the other hand...Blake gives it her edge...the point is..the dresses are on sale ..so ...people are varied and do different stuff with them..cant have a cloned V look on all..but...having said that...V does give it the Posh look rather than laid back...V is one of the only designers at the moment that her designs are almost classic..dig them out in a few years and 0-70 could wear with a bit of aplomb.. I think she could do a cheaper range and also different lengths ..that would be good..its so hard to find them now rather than up round the bum.

I think if you chose a more posed picture of Posh she might stand more of a chance,Blake knows her picture is about to be taken. not sure Posh did.
