Who wore it best? Shakira vs. Jennifer Lopez

Two solo superstars, one metallic frock. But did Shakira rock it best, or does Jennifer Lopez get your vote?
It seems that J-Lo and Shakira have a lot in common. Not only are they both super-successful solo artists, but they two of the biggest names in Latin American music, they share a penchant for hip-shaking moves, and now, they're demonstrating the same sense of style.
Jen was the first to debut this mirrored metal Herve Leger dress - which has a detached matching sleeve - when she made an appearance at the Fontainebleu resort in Miami.
The diva was launching a preview of her latest US single, and also chose this as an opportunity to introduce her fans to her new on-stage alter-ego, Lola.
So, it was as Lola, that she chose this figure-hugging frock - which she teamed with big, blow-dried curls, bare legs and ankle-strap Christian Louboutin heels.
A month later, and her fellow songstress Shakira also opted for the same frock to walk the red carpet at the American Music Awards.
No stranger to the Who Wore it Best feature, Shakira clearly doesn't mind following in the fashionable footsteps of others - having also worn the same dress as both Pixie Lott and Pink at recent events.
The She Wolf singer teamed the pailette-covered mini with her favourite white tights and suede boots combo, and those lust-worthy long locks of hers.

Ooh really tough call! I'm leaning slightly more towards Shakira, but that could be because it's a more flattering shot of her. Bu having said that, I'm not overly keen on the white tights and clumpy boots...
I'm calling this one a draw!

The dress is cool and would look great on Katy Perry or Gaga, but it looks dreadful on both J-Lo and Shakira. Really bad!!

Jennifer Lopez looks the best! shakira is just copying too much these days....even shakiras booys dont match as much as JLo louboutin shoes...

but I agree, not loving the boots. I swear she always wears high black boots too !

I like the black version better but Jenny's shoes and hair are much more of a compliment to the dress than Shakira's. And what is with Shakira always wearing white tights?! Its really unattractive.

JLO!! Jennifer Lopez is sooo hot and always looks gorgeous I prefer this outfit with sandels the boots look too heavy for it!

Jennifer deff. looked better then Shakira in this dress. The picture of J.Lo doesnt do her any justice, if you'd have seen the other photos of her that night.. WOW. she looked fabolous

Jlo all the way. She has the style & know how to accesorize better. And the bronze/gold tone of Jlo dress looks great.I do not like white tights ( is like she is trying to hide cellulite, spider veins or something. Hum..control top maybe??LOL & those boots do not go with the dress at all.Plus Jlo is natural, no nose job at all.
