Jimmy Choo for H&M shoes selling for double on eBay

Jimmy Choo for H&M - Fashion News - Marie Claire

Eager shoppers were out in force on Saturday morning, as Jimmy Choo's eagerly anticipated H&M collection hit the shelves, but for many, the collaboration presented a fashionable business opportunity.

Less than 24 hours after the pieces went on sale, hundreds have hit eBay, selling for well-over the original high street price-tag.

Many of the much-coveted heels are now selling for double the original price - after styles sold out within hours in store.

The keenest shoppers started queuing 14 hours before shops opened at 9am, to get their hands on the much-coveted collection. Many pieces sold out within hours.

Are people in this country completely brainless!! If you are willing to pay double the price you may as well pay for the real thing!

No further shoe stock reached Glasgow.
Extremely disappointed no provision made for disabled shoppers - we still like to look good u know!
I bid £70 for a pair of pumps retailing at £49.99 and I've been outbid on 5 different pairs! Why not make over 5000 pairs? They'd still sell like hot-cakes!

I was so excited when the collaboration was first announced but after pouring over the collection in magazines prior to release I was really disappointed, I couldn't see any pieces I thought worth the effort/price tag.

Yesterday afternoon there was plenty of items in the Regent Street store. On ebay pieces are being offered for sale at much higher prices, but not many are actually being sold (at least as of yesterday).

just walked straight up to the shoes and bought two pairs at around 5pm on Saturday in the H&M at Oxford Circus...no queues whatsoever and quite a few sizes available of every style - up the road at the H&M near bond street tube there was an hour and a half queue to just get upstairs to the shoes!

I started queueing at 8am in the Bullring, Birmingham and I went for the leather trousers. As soon as I entered the store most of the clothes had flown off the shelves and I managed to get a pair. I was very fortunate.

However there were many disappointed shoppers that had waited a lot longer than me for a pair of shoes and it was quite evident the number of e-bayers that bought stacks of shoes ready to flog on the internet.

I think this is disguisting as a true admirer of a fashion piece this practice should be stopped. All shoppers should get together and make a pact that they will not buy items that come along as limited edition pieces and that way this will stop these "Vultures."
