Who wore it worst?! Brooke vs. Ali

There's nothing more embarrassing than arriving at a party sporting the same outfit as someone else.

So spare a thought for Ali Bastian, Brooke Kinsella and Sherrie Hewson who all turned up to the Inside Soap Awards wearing exactly the same dress!

Even worse, Ali and Brooke - both 26 - are over 30 years younger than Sherrie, 59, who is old enough to be their mum.

The coveted sequined jersey 'Lust' dress is from French Connection and costs £160.

But did our soap stars know it also comes in midnight blue? Obviously not.

Ali, who appears in The Bill, teamed her LBD with black knee-high boots. And her hunky Strictly Come Dancing partner Brian Fortuna.

Ex-EastEnders actress Brooke kept things simple with bare legs, peep-toe shoes and left her long blonde hair loose around her shoulders.

Sherrie - a presenter on lunch-time cackle-fest Loose Women - sensibly opted for tights for her older figure.

i think that dress is fab,and no matter what age,what shape those women are,i bet they felt really good in it and wore it their own way!

I think they both look YUK!! lovely dress ruined by one unflattering figure and one pair of gross boots.... p.s I am a size 14 and prob would not have worn that dress full stop!!

Why are we women so horrible to each other. They're both very attractive women with fab personalities. They probably look far better than most of the people who make a negative comment. Come on, why criticise people you don't know anything about. There are far worse sights around.

I'd love to wear it in midnight blue! And I would certainly NOT pair it with boots, it totally ruins the dress.
