Victoria Beckham, New York Fashion Week

Victoria Beckham proved the thigh's the limit last night, as she stepped out in this season's sexiest footwear trend - over-the-knee boots.

In New York for Bergdorf Goodman's Fashion Night Out, the stylista took the opportunity to promote her signature dress collection, posing for the cameras draped in her designs.

But rather than wearing one of her own dresses - already a hit with supermodels such as Elle MacPherson - Victoria teamed her buttock-grazing boots with a tiny animal-patterned strapless dress by Giles Deacon.

Her ubiquitous pout was - of course - firmly in place.

The former Spice Girl is in the Big Apple for the launch of New York Fashion Week. She will reveal her latest DVB collection on the catwalk this weekend.

'She's feeling great,' a source told the Daily Mail. 'Just the right mixture of nerves and excitement.'

Victoria will also launch her latest fragrance, Signature Story, on chat show The View later this week.

But if Posh is wearing the latest must-have accessories at the start of the fashion festival, what will she be snapped in by the end?

she looks terrible....the make-up, the caught-in-the-rain hair...i agree with the "mutton dressed as lamb" comment - you should've stuck to one of your own dresses, victoria, as they're classy and suit you!

well if you ever wanted to be turned off dieting posh is the one to do that shes looking more like a freeky dressed sparrow....shes giving the wrong impression to young girls these days ,maybe thats why we have so many anorexics dying in this country.Makes you think ,why doesnt David say something to her when he cuddles up to her or could it be they are in separate beds!

The dress is fab, as are the boots but just not on her. What happened to the 'I'm dropping the wag perma tan look to be taken seriously by fashion world' I agree she should stick to her own line even if it is ghostdesigned it is classic and more mature
