How to get into ...

Cheryl Cole to launch clothing line?

She's already conquered the worlds of music and TV, but is Cheryl Cole now set to turn her hand to fashion?

The Girls Aloud starlet is reportedly keen to add designer to her already bulging CV, with a source telling the Evening Standard: 'With her new hair and edgier clothes choices, Cheryl has told work colleagues that she wants to capitalise on her best dressed status and is exploring the possibilities of launching her own fashion label next year.'

The collection is rumoured to be taking a more casual direction than WAG rival Victoria Beckham's line of elegant dresses. Cheryl famously remarked that Posh's designs were more suited to 'older women,' and is believed to be targeting a younger market for her signature line.

The source adds: 'Cheryl wants to pounce while she's on top. She is eager to follow the multi-tier marketing platform used by US stars such as Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and Heidi Klum, to highlight her on-screen, singing and fashion talents.'

The collection would be yet another project outside of Girls Aloud for Mrs Cole, who debuted her first solo single, Fight For This Love, this week.

I find it slightly annoying that these already grossly rich people are not satisfied with sticking to one thing - can't she just be happy with being a very successful pop star without having to try and convince us all she is some kind of style icon?? Sure, she is a very pretty looking young woman, but fashion - really? We all know there is a clued up stylist that makes her look good... remember the tracksuits and sheer tops from just a few years ago??

if only those celebrities did a half decent job in one of their "professions" like we "simple" people, who climb the carrer ladder in order to success in just one path

come on, those starlets are in their early twenties, and they already have a pop single, perfume and fashion line, a biography, some kind of a judge job in a tv show, and the list goes on..it has all gone crazy; it has become really unfair and it's not jealousy speaking....do skills and talent not matter anymore?

It's like anyone who can sing thinking they can make it in the acting world, or anyone who has their 5 minutes of fame suddenly wanting to present on tv or design clothes/perfume...
