Stylistas step out for September Issue premiere

It's the film that famously sees Ann Wintour brand Sienna Miller 'too toothy', and bemoan her 'many fillings' and 'unruly hair,' but any animosity between the pair has clearly been put to bed, as for The September Issue's premiere last night, the duo walked the red carpet together.

The fly-on-the-wall documentary follows the American Vogue team as they complete the year's biggest issue, of which Ms Miller stars as covergirl. The footage shows Wintour despairing over the cover shot, taken by Mario Testino, eventually deciding to superimpose the actress's head from one image onto her body from another.

But Sienna was clearly unoffended. She stole the show at the flick's debut, in a super-sweet sky-blue strapless minidress, paired with a bejewelled box clutch, glittering gold heels and chandelier earrings.

Like a who's who of New York's fashion scene, attendees included Chanel Iman, Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Georgina Chapman, Jason Wu, Vera Wang and Zac Posen.

And there was no shortage of star faces as well. Renée Zellweger rocked up in a vibrant tangerine shift, while Alexa Chung let the style side down, in a shapeless long cream dress, teamed with too-chunky heels. Time for that Hollywood makeover we think, Ms Chung.

Renee looks hideous, that colour is awful on her and its shiny and her legs and arms are all tendony and horrible looking. How can you think this is a GOOD LOOK FOR HER?

i happen to like whatever renee zellweger wears. she's got the body for it. renee's just awesome. so is sienna. love them!!!

I disagree - I think Renee looks great, until I looked at the legs - too thin. Alexa looks like she raided her grandmother's wedding wardrobe and then couldn't find any footwear to match so grabbed the nearest pair of boots - she looks hideous...........
