Another day, yet another celebrity stylista joins the bulging A-list fan base for Victoria Beckham's designer dress collection.

Following a run of star spots – Elle Macpherson, Leighton Meester and Heidi Klum, to name merely a few – Dannii Minogue is the latest recruit to Mrs Beckham's star-studded appreciation society, stepping out in a midnight blue strapless gown with sequin waist panel, from the fashionista's spring '09 collection.

But naturally, she wasn't the first to debut the statement frock. VB herself wore the dress for date night with husband David, back in December 2008. The golden couple headed to dinner together, with Posh teaming her self-designed dress with patent platforms, and a clutch.

Ms Minogue, in Australia before the X Factor starts live filming this weekend, opted for similar styling, accessorising with classic courts and a dark clutch. But while Mrs B's dress reached just below her knees, on petite Dannii the frock was longer and calf-length

I prefer the dress on Victoria, just the right lenght, very elegant. But calf-lenght on Dannii just looks clumsy.

I think danni does the dress much more justice than Victoria. I like the longer length as I think Victoria looks too tall in it and Danni just looks as if she is enjoying wearing it a lot more too.

It looks better on Posh - but its a mingin design really..her designs look like the sort of dresses a 10 year old girl would draw when playing at being a fashion designer. hmmmm
cant think why all these celebs are wearing em..methinks there is a bit of brown nosing going on in the celeb world perchance
Posh should stick to being a clothes horse, and being queen of WAGS , not a clothes designer.

I don't think those sorts of dresses suit Victoria.
The skirts always look like they baloon around her legs. I don't understand, because surely Victoria Beckham of all people could afford to get clothes altered so they actually fit? Or put some padding in so she looks less like a pre-pubescent boy...

I totally agree with Kim a little shorter and it would be perfect.
The best part is the happy smile not a sour face which makes all the difference.

Actually Posh doesn't look as emaciated as usual, and does appear to have slight curves. While the length is better on Posh, Dannii wins with her curves and natural glamour (and of course the smile ..)

I think Victoria wore it best. The dress/outfit in general just looks more upbeat and trendy on her. I think she looks more stylish than Dannii as the dress is too long for her.

Dannii looks a million times better than Posh, there is no comparison. Dannii has a curvy, classic hour glass figure, Posh is just skinny and the dress looks rubbish on her. Dannii rules.

The dresses are designed for curvier women. Dannii looks fab. If Victoria put on a bit of weight she would look better

Victoria looks a million dollars in the dress. Danni looks nice but the dress is far to long, hence she looks to small for the dress.

Dannii is nice and curvy but is a little short for the style. I like the length on VB better. So they both get points.
