Who wore it best? Posh vs. Leighton

Victoria Beckham's dress collection has had a seriously high profile week.

First, Elle Macpherson wore the fashionista's elegant frocks not once, but twice on consecutive days, and now Mrs B herself has continued her one woman publicity show, wearing yet another of her own designs for her second appearance on American Idol.

Arriving in Boston, to fill Paula Abdul's vacant judge's seat for a second time, Posh slipped into the cherry red Carmontelle dress – which is fast becoming the star of her autumn/winter '09 collection.

The former Spice Girl has already stepped out in the grey version, as did Elle this week, but the dress racked up a third A-List outing, when Leighton Meester wore it on the set of TV's chicest show, Gossip Girl.

Like Posh's latest fashion spot, Meester was spotted in character as the show's resident sartorial queen bee, Blair Waldof, clad in the scarlet Carmontelle, and gave the design some signature ladylike chic, with a string of pearls, matching multi-strand bracelets, cream round-toed courts, a python Birkin-esque handbag, and naturally, a trademark Alice band.

Perhaps inspired by the small screen stylista, Posh also topped off her ensemble with a hair accessory, rocking a thick lace band across her hairline.

Definitely Leighton - Posh has too much make-up on and looks slightly scary!

I'm no fan of skin and bones Victoria B but Leighton just looks exceptionally uncomfortable and out of place in the dress. The photo does neither her or the dress justice . So guess Victoria looks best.

Leighton kinda looks like she's playing dress up in mums closet - the accessories are shamefull and look a bit Primark.

Posh is too thin and whats with the caked on makeup, at least Leighton has got some curves to show off although not sure that the dress completely flatters her but of the 2 definitely Leighton

Any one looks better than Posh - she is always so over styled and made up. Leightons picture is not great, but much better body.

As much as I like Leighton, this pic does her no justice. She just doesn't look good here. Posh definitely wins this one!

Definitely Victoria - she looks classy. It doesn't fit Leighton properly and her accessories spoil it.

Well usually i'd say Leighton all the way, but on this ocassion i think she looks out of place therefore i'm gonna have to give it to posh.
