Who wore it best? Gwyneth Vs. Mischa

Mischa Barton and Gwyneth Paltrow may not seem the most likely of Hollywood pairings - one's an earth mother-of-two, the other a recently rehabed rock chick - but when it comes to style, they share a common obsession – teeny-tiny minidresses.
This penchant for thigh-skimmers leads us neatly to today's A-list fashion match-up, as both actresses have donned Versace's glittering gold strapless dress, but styled it up in very different ways.
First up, Gwynnie debuted the style back in February, when she took to the stage at the 2009 Grammy awards.
Keeping her never-ending pins under-wraps, Ms Paltrow teamed the dress with dove grey opaque tights, towering Mary-Jane heels, and wore her blonde locks loose and natural.
Toning down the high-octane stunner, she even layered up with a slate grey Burberry cardi later in the evening.
Onto the latest style spot, and Mischa got back to work - following her stint in rehab - and donned the frock for filming of new TV show, The Beautiful Life.
Although in character, the look was in tune with the former OC starlet's signature rock chick styling, eschewing heels for studded flat biker boots, and little else but black nails and loose long locks.

Oh come on. This is a no brainer. Gwyneth looks classy and super confident. Totally beautiful whereas Mischa looks clumsy and dumpy. Get rid of the boots and put on some heels and at least those legs would appear more defined.

Mischa looks on trend and Gwyneth looks uber glam, its hard to compare the two. In my opinion Mischa totally rocks this look and gives the dress a certain edge.

I love mischa shes my favourite actress!! The dress really suits her but the shoes are crap! Gwyneth's shoes on mischa would look GREAT!! :D

shame Mischa didn't get the memo that for anyone who carries their weight on their legs to cut their ankles off like that is a major style error. my vote is for Gwyneth

They both look good in the dress, love the rock chick boots, why shouldnt we wear what we want. personally I think one looks ready for an evening event and the other a garden party!!! go for it I say.

Without a doubt it has to be Mischa hands down - she is beautiful, tall and young - Gwyneth is too old to wear micro minis and the heals make her look like shes off to the office!

Completely disagree with most of the above - Gwyneth looks ordinary and utterly unimaginative. Mischa gives the rest of us style to aspire to: she's quirky, takes a risk and oozes cool. And no hideous office-drab grey tights!

i usually like mischa's style, but this outfit does nothing for her body shape. it makes her legs look ten times bigger than they actually are. Gwyenth wins this one, she makes the outfit work, especially with them shoes!

Gwyneth looks gorgeous, classy, trim and has great legs. Mischa looks sooooo bad, dumpy and those boots are god - bad.

Just so you all know, the photo of Mischa was taken after she had taken her heels off - this was on the set of her new show and in between filming she took her heels off and swapped them for her boots just to be comfy! She looked fab with the heels!

Mischa looks really unconfident while Gwyneth looks pretty damn confident!! I love Mischa but Gwyneth definately has the upper hand here.

I'm think gwyeneth wore it best, she just looks comfotable in the dress, but also has thought about what to wear it with, the shoes elongate her legs and her hair looks effortless and earings finish the look, fabulous.
