Angelina Jolie gives us style déjà vu

As she arrived at LA's Inglourious Basterds premiere this week, all eyes might have been on Angelina Jolie, but we couldn't help feeling a spot of fashion déjà vu.

While leather rarely takes it place on Hollywood's red carpets, save for the ubiquitous accessories and the odd beaten-up jacket, Ms Jolie has rocked leather looks time-and-time again, making them her fashion obsession du jour.

Skintight trousers were a particular favourite, the perfect foil to her wild girl persona as she hit the red carpet back in 2000 alongside then husband Billy Bob Thorton, and then yet again, albeit in sleeker mode, seven years later as promoted Beowulf in London.

In fact, leather has become Jolie's failsafe scene-stealer.

In the midst of controversy, as the press went wild for the Brad/Jen/Ange love triangle following Pitt and Aniston's split, Jolie played up the sex kitten image, arriving at the Mr and Mrs Smith premiere in a plunging leather full-length gown.

Far from playing the innocent party, Jolie vamped it up to the max.



And then we have this week's outing. As yet again, Jolie faces a sea of media attention, with the gossip rags churning out headline after headline sounding the death knell or her and Pitt's union, she's is back in the leather!

Looking her sizzling best, the actress sartorially stuck two fingers up to her critics, not only looking hot, hot hot, but putting up the ultimate united front with her beau, as they cuddled, giggled and smooched their way down the red carpet.

have you noticed the gossip are always churning out headline after headline sounding the death knell on her and Pitt's union? If she was trying to stop the rumors she would have to be out in leather every single day because the rumors of a bust up have never stopped.
