Tom Ford single-handedly reinvented Gucci and he also produced smoking hot fragrances and cosmetics under his own name as well as collaborating with Estee Lauder. So we can't wait for the latest extension to Brand Ford - films. The prestigious Venice Film Festival has just announced that his debut directing effort, A Single Man, will premiere on September 11th.

Starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, the film is set in 60s LA and is based on Christopher Isherwood's novel of the same name. It tells the story of a British college professor struggling to cope with the death of his longtime partner.

Forget the plot - we just can't wait to see that wardrobe...
