If proof was needed that Alexa Chung has made it Stateside, then simply look to the style star's latest modelling gig – as the face of quintessential New York brand, DKNY.

Long been considered one of London's leading fashionistas, following a move Stateside to front her own MTV show, Ms Chung's style had obviously made an impression, and she has taken over from Daisy Lowe as DKNY's resident Brit It girl.

The campaign was shot by Sartorialist photographer Scott Schuman, in the style of his much-celebrated street style blog.

For the pics, Alexa rocks skin-tight leather leggings, ankle boots, and a belted grey jacket, while her hair looks uncharacteristically coiffed, into voluminous curls.
