Penelope Cruz's red-hot London look

Always the red carpet pro, Penelope Cruz looked stunning as ever at the Broken Embraces UK premiere last night, despite losing all her luggage just hours earlier.

The gorgeous Oscar winner looked red-hot in head-to-toe scarlet, wearing a Bottega Veneta suit and cami, teamed with vertiginous wedges.

And though she looked picture-perfect, the actress had been forced into a fateful fashion improvise, after her checked baggage from her flight was lost in transit.

Luckily she was prepared for the worst, and the stunning suit was stashed in her hand luggage.

Penelope arrived at London's Somerset House on the arm of the film's director Pedro Almodovar, and told waiting reporters,  'It is beautiful here — this is my first time here.'

And though she enjoyed the surroundings, she revealed she struggles with the great British weather, 'I love London... but I have difficulties with the rainy weather.'
