Sienna's style transformation

The hot topic on the MC online desk this morning? Sienna Miller's latest style incarnation.

While we're used to cooing over the stylista's signature boho ensembles – think tailored trousers, slouchy tops, embellished minidresses and little black blazers – she debuted an altogether more daring look at the Japan premiere of new movie, G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, and certainly ensured that all eyes were firmly on her.

The actress chose a Gucci autumn/winter '09 ombré spot silver and iridescent black embroidered spencer jacket and trousers with silk georgette slim shirt, plus Gucci's new season peep-toe platform booties.

Dividing opinions left, right and centre, while some considered the look a sartorial breath of fresh air from the often predictable starlet, others have branded Sienna's latest style outing an ill-fitting fashion shocker.



Remaining coy regarding her relationship with on-off boyfriend Balthazar Getty, Sienna eschewed a man on her arm, and instead took sister Savannah as her date for the evening.
