SEE Lily Allen's Chanel campaign

The first pics of Lily Allen's Chanel campaign have finally hit the web.

Marking the songstress's first foray into the world of designer advertising, she strikes a pose alongside the Coco Cocoon bag collection, which will launch in October '09.

The bags are reversable, and can be turned inside out, so are actually two styles in one. Perhaps a nod to recessionista chic, on one side the designs are either lambskin or ecru, but they can also be worn with the quilted lining on the outside.

As for the ads, the black and white shots show Lily looking distinctly Lagerfeld-like, wearing the designer's signature monochrome hues, fingerless gloves and neat tailoring. Her hair is styled into a neat chignon, and in two shots is adorned with towering tiaras.

 

The partnership is an unsurprising one; the singer's a regular feature on the front row of Chanel catwalk shows, as well as being one of the label's most loyal celebrity fans, with her penchant for its quilted bags regularly documented on style pages.
