Inglourious Basterds premieres in London

She may have nothing to do with the film in question, but it was Rihanna who stole the show at last night's London premiere of Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.

Debuting a gravity-defying quiff, the 21-year-old songstress rocked an Alexander McQueen jumpsuit and black Maison Martin Margiela shoe boots.

It was all about the 80s when it came to her accessories - think Madonna circa Like a Virgin - with long lace fingerless gloves, and multi-strands of stacked pearls.



With the film's leading man, Brad Pitt, conspicuously absent, it was left to cast members Mickey Rourke and Diane Kruger to join Tarantino on the red carpet.

The ever-chic Kruger went short and sexy in a Balmain autumn/winter '09 strapless minidress, teamed with Christian Louboutin studded peep-toes.

The film hits UK cinema screens on 21 August.
