Susan Boyle's style star just got brighter, with news that she'll be the subject of a high-fashion shoot for Harper's Bazaar.

The unlikely subject, who shot to fame around the world when her Britain's Got Talent audition became a YouTube sensation, will strike a pose for the shoot and accompanying interview, to feature in the mag's September issue.

Boyle came second in the ITV show, losing out to dance troupe Diversity. She checked into the Priory Clinic just hours after the final, citing exhaustion.

Since then, the Scottish singer has enjoyed a relatively low profile, but has quietly kept in the public eye, and is the subject of a primetime show on US network NBC next week.

So what will Harper's have in store for the notoriously style challenged spinster? Louis Vuitton bunny ears? Balmain's bold shoulder minidresses? We can't wait to see the results!

This was a very nice article until the last paragraph. Susan is far from style challenged... she looks absolutely gorgeous. And even if she did not, since when is it "socially acceptable" to run down someone for their physical appearance?

I totally agree with the comment on this article, Susan Boyle is obviously a very talented singer, no matter her size of looks, she is an icon for all those people out there that know beauty is skin deep the surface is exactly what it is, what is inside a person is more important than how they look, give me a down to earth person over an uptight clothes horse any day of the week.

person, with a nice character also.
The last ist the most important.
To me she was already adorable at 11.4.2009,
with a beautiful voice full of love.

This will be the first issue of Harper's that I ever bought.
As for Susan's wardrobe, she's sure looking great now, but I don't care what she wears, as long as she sings!

Yes, Susan looks beautiful, but I thought she looked a lovely lady right from the start - open, honest, eager to please and somehow vulnerable. I'm glad to see her fans protest at unkind comments. I have decided not to ever buy again any publication that is nasty to her. I suggest we all do the same. Papers and magazines exist to make money. Make sure the spiteful ones don't get any of ours. Good luck to Susan, I hope all her dreams come true.

Good luck to Susan but, is it really necessary to use the insulting & derogatory term of spinster. It implies that no-one has wanted to marry her as it may be by sensible choice that she is still single
