The X Factor fashion face-off is back!

The new series may still be at the audition phase, but Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue were back in their X Factor gladrags yesterday, as filming kicked off in Glasgow. 

Just days after the Girls Aloud tour wrapped, Mrs Cole was back to work, revealing her teeny-tiny physique in an Alexander McQueen two-tone bodycon top, black Rupert Sanderson courts and the A-list's favourite new wardrobe staple: leggings.

Naturally, those trademark tumbling tresses were picture perfect as ever, while her natural look make-up and bronze smoky eyes were enviably flawless.

Meanwhile, Ms Minogue debuted a new short cropped 'do as she stepped out in a sequin embellished T-shirt dress, boyfriend blazer and the Tabitha Star Dust bag.

It was rumoured that the Aussie singer would not return to the series, due to reported friction with Cole, but she's back after signing a £1 million contract.

ARGH! So unfair! We just got BGT off our screens, and immedaiately, more of the same miserable tat! When will it end?!

At least we can all celebrate that we're soon to be forever free of Big Brother.

I'm already 'free of Big Brother' because I don't watch it because I don't like it, it's a simple concept. I'm looking forward to X-Factor althought I must admit I am a tad fed up of hearing 'friction' stories now.
