Kylie gets fuchsia fabulous

All eyes were on Kylie at Dolce & Gabbana's star-studded Cannes party, as the fabulous forty-something wowed in a hot fuchsia minidress.

Ms Minogue may be celebrating her 41st birthday this Thursday, but she blew away the competition at the Italian design duo's glitzy soiree, in a little pink bustier dress, teamed with nude skyscraper heels and fishnet tights.   

The vibrant hue ensured the petite starlet stole the show, although there was no shortage of stylish attendees.

Claudia Schiffer went classic chic in a strapless black gown, while fellow super Eva Herzigova joined the LBD brigade, in a sheer lace dress from Dolce & Gabbana's autumn/winter '09 collection.

Dita Von Teese looked typically prim and proper in a slim black design, with puff ball sleeves and a statement necklace.

And so it was left to the Brits to let the side down. Clocking up yet another party appearance to join the never-ending list, the Geldof sisters took to the red carpet, again.

While Peaches's D&G gown was one of her better sartorial choices, sister Pixie's attempt at goth-chic went disastrously wrong. Her inky lips and paler-than-pale complexion looked more Halloween than A-list bash beauty.
