As a regular jet setter, you can always rely on Victoria Beckham to up the glamour factor, no matter how many air miles she's clocked up.

Arriving at Los Angeles' LAX airport, following a fleeting trip to see husband David in Milan, the fashionista rocked one of her favourite new trends – top-to-toe black.

A crew-neck sweater and full A-line skirt made for a demure choice, although on closer inspection the top revealed itself to be completely sheer, flaunting the stylista's considerable cleavage.

Never one to miss a trend opportunity, Posh had also picked up on the season's penchant for hair accessories, and slicked back her hair with an animal print silk scarf.

Of course, the obligatory Posh accessories were all present and correct – the now ubiquitous Hermès Birkin bag, and a pair of oversized shades. Plus, her little black booties came courtesy of one of her favourite designers - Christian Louboutin.

You have to salute Mrs Beckham for defying the jet lag once again to look preened-to-perfection, plus we love the nipped-in retro silhouette, which gives her slim physique a touch of curves.

What critics??!! I wish. Victoria seems to get little less than adoration at all times... when will somebody stand up and say SHE NEEDS TO EAT!! What kind of example is she for young women, posing and pursing like a Barbie doll. I know she has a good business head, but she needs to show a better example to those young souls her follow her every mood. Life is not all about money and prestige, you know!
