Asymmetric dresses continue to be the trend of choice dominating the red carpet.

The latest stylish recruit? At a screening of movie Easy Virtue, Jessica Biel was the picture of elegance last night in a 3.1 Philip Lim oyster ivory gown, which provided the starlet with one of her most stylish looks to date.

With her hair swept into a casual up 'do, and her make-up radiant, she looked her picture-perfect best. No wonder a certain Mr Timberlake is so enamoured.

And though Ms Biel wowed in one-shoulder, there's been no shortage of stars getting in on the asymmetric act.

Just this weekend, both Elizabeth Banks and Demi Moore attended the White House Gala Dinner in single strap gowns, while at the Costume Institute Gala, the hottest date on the fashion calendar, one-shoulder dresses provided style hits for Kate Moss, Claire Danes, Hilary Swank and Victoria Beckham, to name merely a few.

An easy style to emulate, the high street is awash with the stars' glamorous staple. Try French Connection, for fun and flirty mini versions, while ASOS has nailed the corsage-embellished shoulder, spotted on the likes of Diane Kruger and Anne Hathaway, with its baby pink Black Label dress.
