We're big fans of Jennifer Aniston's timeless style here on the marieclaire.co.uk desk, but we're starting to wish that she'd just lighten up!

Stepping out for a screening of her new film last night, and yes, she may have looked elegant in head-to-toe grey, with a Balenciaga dress, Fred Leighton earrings, a Ferragamo clutch and Christian Louboutin heels, but we're starting to yearn for a bit of colour from the gorgeous Friends star.

Known for her classic chic, the actress has become the queen of monochrome, typically spotted in little black dresses, crisp white shirts and simple shifts. Now we're all for finding a look that works for you and sticking to it, but where's the fun in that when it comes to the red carpet?

The actress was in New York, where she's working the publicity trail for new movie Management.

On the red carpet she should wear whatever she wants to be wearing. Grey, black, white or other.
