YSL's cage sandals have already encased the well-manicured feet of some of Hollywood's hottest fashionistas, but the question is, who wore them best?

Giving the style its red carpet debut back in February, the well-heeled Tilda Swinton teamed hers with a dove grey trouser suit, letting her statement shoe take centre stage.

Another month, another glitzy outing, and this time the uber heels cropped up on the feet of Ugly Betty's Becki Newton. Attending The Metropolitan Opera 125th Anniversary Season gala, the actress would have made her fashionable alter ego proud, wearing the structural shoes with a glittering green sequin dress.

Proving no time is down-time in the world of Beyonce, the heels got their latest outing adorning the feet of Sasha Fierce herself, this time in a more casual guise.

Sightseeing in Vienna, the singer attempted casual chic, with a pair of ripped jeans, a vest and fedora, and teetered on the gravity-defying YSLs as she strolled the city.

Just the right degree of sparkle, oodles of glamour, the 'it' shoe...oh, and she is fabulously beautiful too.

Beyonces style of caged heel is much better and would suit becki's dress to a T. Tilda rocks it but she always looks washed out.. I like beyonce's outfit she looks fun and sexy. I would do horredous things to get my hands on those shoes!

BeyoncÃ© by miles!It has to be said the shoes are damn ugly and maybe it's just the full frontal view that improves them - but they're funky not classic (Tilda - she looks like a newsreporter who forget to wear makeup) and not classy enough for the red carpet.
