Has Kate Moss been channelling Star Trek chic?

It certainly seemed like it last night, when the super stepped out in a futuristic silver minidress, which would have been perfectly at home in the costume department of the soon-to-be-released sci-fi movie.

But in fact, the style maven was rocking some of summer's hottest looks.

First up, and Moss pulled off the statement bold shoulder trend with aplomb, a look already spotted on the likes of Victoria Beckham, Rihanna and Sarah Jessica Parker.

She was also sporting the most-talked about label of the season – Balmain.

Always one to be a step ahead of the fashion pack, while others are still coveting Balmain's spring/summer collection, Moss has already dipped into the autumn/winter offering, from which she picked this metallic fashion gem.

Enjoying a night on the town with comedian David Walliams, Moss lived up to her party girl reputation, starting her evening at Shaun Leane's Forevermark White Light diamond launch, then moving onto dinner at Nobu, before hitting Movida until 4am.

As the pair toured the capital, they picked up a number of celebrity friends along the way, including Noel Fielding, Rhys Ifans and Jo Wood.
