Henry Holland to join Designers at Debenhams?
By Lucy Hutchings on Thursday 16 April 2009
Could Henry Holland be bringing his signature designer style to the high street, with a little help from Debenhams?
The Brit designer is reportedly in talks with the high street giant, with the view to being its latest Designer at Debenhams.
According to Drapers, the department store is courting Holland in the hope his designs would attract a younger audience, to enable it to compete with the likes of Topshop.
If the deal goes ahead, then the move would see Holland join the likes of Julien Macdonald, Jasper Conran, Julien Macdonald and John Rocha, who all currently design capsule collections for the retailer.
