Is Emma Watson the new Burberry girl?

Has Emma Watson swapped her broomstick for a Burberry handbag? The Harry Potter star has reportedly been snapped up by the British luxury label to front its latest ad campaign.

According to the Daily Mail, the actress signed a six-figure deal to be the face of the Burberry autumn/winter '09 campaign, and was photographed last weekend in London.  

The move would be an unsurprising one for the budding fashionista. She's become a regular on the front rows at London and Paris fashion weeks, and has a well-known penchant for high end labels, such as Chanel, and naturally, Burberry Prorsum.

So far, Burberry has been reluctant to confirm reports, stating 'The campaign is not yet finalised and we won't release any information until around the time of the official launch in June.'

Watson turned 19-years-old this week and is currently filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, the penultimate film in the wizarding franchise.
