Posh works the shoulder trend

Always one to embrace the trickiest trends in a bid to stay ahead of the fashion pack, this season is all about the bold shoulder for Victoria Beckham.

Stepping out for a spot of shopping in Milan yesterday, Posh worked this season's penchant for statement shoulders, with a Balmain sculpted leather jacket, teamed with tie-dye jeans, both from the designer's spring/summer '09 collection.

To complete her look she added her favourite accessories: a Hermes Birkin bag, Christian Louboutin heels and those ubiquitous oversized shades.

The £2,600 jacket has become a firm favourite of Mrs B's - unusually, she's been spotted in it on more than one occasion, including a trip to Wembley to watch husband David play for England.

Bold sculptural shoulders were a key trend that cropped up across the spring catwalks, creating dramatic silhouettes at Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton.

Im sorry but that jacket is horrible and what with posh being stick thin anyway it looks like her bony shoulders are sticking out through the jacket!!

Although this jacket is quite fabulous it just doesn't suit her super-tiny figure...I don't think she works it well.

And I am surprised she's got back to all these designer clothes again. Obviously she isn't a quite a business woman yet if she keeps spending money on someone else designs instead of promoting her own brand!

VB is the style icon indeed! In fact she is the ultimate of them all. If you wanna know if a certain is on trend or not, you just have to look at her. She's not only the walking billboard like her dear husband for clothes only, but also for the latest hair trend and of course, shoes! Go VB! MAJOR!

that jacket is awful, it looks like there is something wrong with her shoulders, and rather than looking fashionable, she just looks plain stupid and in need of a good meal!

Hi it's not so long ago we were all walking around in statement shoulders!

Remember on the thin they did not look all that great, no change in that I see.

Without the bony shoulder look, this jacket would look wonderful on Posh, maybe it's a bit extra weight she really needs!

She is the most awful person on this planet, I would never look to her for style as she does not represent most women, she has tried to make herself into a fashion icon in completely the wrong way, what message is she giving young women of today losing the amount of weight she has? I am in despair of her.
