Has Marc Jacobs found a new A-list muse?

The fashion world is abuzz with rumours that the designer's on the hunt for a Hollywood starlet to replace Victoria Beckham, who fronted his eponymous label back in 2008.

With Posh focusing on her own fashion lines, Jacobs has reportedly switched his allegiance to a new leading lady; Anne Hathaway!

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, a source revealed that the pair has struck up a fashionable friendship: 'Marc and Anne have forged a fast but very intense friendship. They're going to start doing public appearances together soon.'

'Anne hasn't signed up to do any advertising yet but, by dressing her, Marc can infuse his line with a fresh but famous face and Anne can revamp her image,' the source added.

'If it works well, Anne would be happy to model for some of Marc's campaigns.'

As the designer that convinced Posh to pose poking out from a carrier bag, we can't wait to see what Jacobs has in store for the lovely Anne!
