Clear your diaries for summer 2010! The Sex and the City girls are back.

A date for the Sex and the City movie sequel has been confirmed, and we've already got baited breath.

Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda will light up cinemas - and our lives! - on 28 May 2010, according to E Online.

The movie will go head-to-head with Jake Gyllenhaal's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

And we already know which one we'll be queuing up to get tickets for!

Last year's first Sex and the City movie was a smash hit and grossed $415 million worldwide off a $65 million budget.

All the movie's main stars, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattral, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, have signed up for the sequel.

We literally can't wait to see the new wardrobe already.
