Kate Moss launches NY Topshop

Kate Moss was Sir Philip Green's belle of the ball last night, as his guest of honour at the launch of Topshop New York.

Wearing her favourite black YSL tux jacket, a tiered minidress, black tights and YSL round toe heels, the super looked every inch the Topshop poster girl, as she sparked a flashbulb frenzy amongst the waiting paps.

But it wasn't just Kate upping the star factor at Green's soiree. On hand to inject a spot of serious A-list glamour, Jennifer Lopez arrived on the arm of husband Marc Anthony, and flaunted those famous curves in a white strapless dress.

Sadly, she was let down in the style stakes by her husband, whose attempt at geek chic, with a mismatch tartan jacket and beige slacks, was much more geek than chic.

Building the buzz for the high street haven's first US venue, also in attendance was NY's style matriarch, Anna Wintour, alongside the city's fashion golden boy, Marc Jacobs, actress Rosario Dawson and Blondie's Debbie Harry.

Prior to the party, Moss stopped by for a private tour of the Soho new store, which she will officially open today. She stepped out in a dress from her ninth Topshop collection, which to coincide with the US launch, hits stores globally today.
