Katie to design clothes for kids

As the mother of one of Hollywood's most stylish tots, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Katie Holmes has set he sights on the world of children's fashion.

The actress, who debuted sassy longer hair this week, has confirmed that's she's started working on a line of kids clothing.

Speaking to a US magazine, Katie explained, that naturally, inspiration had come from her little fashionista, 'Jeanne Yang and I have been working together. We started about a year ago, sketching different things, trying to find comfortable clothing for our daughters that is also pretty and cute... We both grew up with mothers who sewed.'

Yang is a celebrity stylist, and long-term friend of Holmes. The stylish pairs' new venture will reportedly be entitled, Holmes-Yang.

The actress added that she's already thinking about branching out into womenswear as well, 'We just started, and we've played around with doing things for women as well.'

With mum behind the designs, we wonder if little Suri will flex her style muscles in front of the camera for the ad campaign!
