Gwyneth teams up with fashionable friends

Does Gwyneth Paltrow have the most impressive address book in Hollywood?

She's in with the music crowd, think Madonna, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and of course her beau, seems to know everyone in the film industry, even her family is famous, with actress Blythe Danner as a mother, and Steven Spielberg as her godfather.

Last night was all about her fashionable friends though, as the actress hosted a gala dinner to raise funds for Bent on Learning, a charity that offers instruction in yoga and meditation to students in New York.

And so, resplendent in a maroon asymmetric dress, Gwynnie cosied up to supermodel Christy Turlington, designer Donna Karan and Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford, amongst a star-studded crowd.

As for the philanthropic evening, and she told The Insider, 'I started practicing yoga 20 years ago... and it changed my life. I think New York City public schools need some TLC, and, I think, yoga is a nice way to get centered. It is a great idea.'
