Kate Winslet's Oscar night plans

Kate Winslet has revealed the criteria behind her highly anticipated Oscar frock, and it's all about the comfort.

The actress, who already has six nominations under her belt, will take to the red carpet this Sunday, and although the eyes of the world will be upon her, she's revealed she's yet to choose that all-important dress.

Speaking to People, Winslet, who's up for Best Actress explained, 'I don't know what I'm going to be wearing yet. Hopefully it will be wonderful and relaxed.'

Speaking like a true Oscars pro she added, 'It's such fun to work out what you're going to wear. You become incredibly girlie... In the last few years – maybe it's age – I feel very settled within myself. I don't feel the red-carpet pressure.'

As for the night itself, and she added that it's the red carpet walk that she dreads.

'One of the great 'Okay, you can breathe now moments' is when you've gotten through the red carpet' she explained. 'The relief moment is that moment when you get in the doors and there aren't any cameras and you go, 'Wheew! Where's the bathroom?''
