Angelina Jolie's back-to-front SAGs style

Most onlookers would never have realised but the true fashionistas amongst you will have clocked that Angelina Jolie chose to wear her gown backwards to the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday evening.

And one can only ask, why?

Miss Jolie pulled off her effortless red carpet style again at the awards do in Los Angeles, in an understated cornflower blue Max Azria gown from the spring 2009 collection, but in an unusual, yet confident, twist the Changeling star opted to let the plunging neckline show off her back, rather than her décolletage.

Ange’s stylist, Jen Rade, explained the dress turn around was to make it ‘more blouson’ and of course, allowed Mrs Pitt to show off her multiple back tattoos as well.

When quizzed on the red carpet about her getting ready routine, Angelina revealed: ‘I just like to be comfortable. I see what comfortable options are out there.’

Before you start experimenting though, something tells us only the most beautiful woman in the world can pull off this look.

in my opinion Angelina's take on it is better. to me they look like different dresses.. you can tell she hid some of the back (front on the model) where the leg opens.. but to me it just looks better in that way!
