The celebrity ad campaigns are coming in thick and fast!

Yesterday we revealed the first pics of Victoria Beckham's sizzling Armani shoot, and now Katie Holmes' first campaign for Miu Miu has landed in our inboxes.

The new Miu Miu muse stars in the spring/summer '09 campaign, and like Posh's Armani images, was shot be esteemed fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Showing the actress against the backdrop of a blazing sky, she appears as as 'a luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality,' Miu Miu explains.

This is Holmes' first major advertising campaign, unlike her friend Mrs Beckham, who has starred in advertising for Marc Jacobs, Pepsi, and for her array of eponymous perfume and clothing lines.

Miu Miu has a hisory of picking celebrity faces for its campaigns, with Vanessa Paradis, Kirsten Dunst, Lindsay Lohan and Maggie Gyllenhaal all posing for previous seasons.

Don't know what to say... she's a very pretty girl but this campaign is just not her. She seems to really have lost her sense of identity since she married Tom Cruise....
