SEE Posh in latest airport look

While most people opt for comfort over style when it comes to travel, the exact opposite can be said for the ever-preened Victoria Beckham.

Arriving at Rome's Fiumicino airport to board a flight for LA, Posh chose a pair of vertiginous 5.5 inch heel Christian Louboutin ankle boots, to totter through check-in.

As for her ensemble, and practicality clearly is never an issue for Mrs B, as despite the winter weather she wore little more than a pin-flashing camel mac, and added a ubiquitous pair of star-worthy shades to complete her ensemble.

Struggling to hold her balance, the style-conscious star arrived with sons Romeo and Cruz for the homeward bound flight.

The family were in Rome to watch David's debut for new club, AC Milan. During his three month stint in Italy, Victoria and their three sons will remain in LA, where the boys go to school.

Speaking to reporters this week, David commented on the set-up, saying, 'Of course it's difficult being away from my family but my children have to be settled and they go to school in Los Angeles so it's important they carry on their way of life.'
