Jerry Hall biopic gets the go ahead

By Lucy Hutchings  on Thursday 18 December 2008

Jerry Hall and Georgia Jagger

Mick Jagger is likely to be quaking in his boots, with news that Jerry Hall has sold the film rights to her memoir.

According to The Daily Express, the Texan supermodel is currently putting the finishing touches on her autobiography, but before the book has even hit shops, the film rights have been sold by publishers HarperCollins.

A source told the paper that the biopic is likely to be, 'a kind of How To Lose Friends & Alienate People meets How To Marry A Rock Star.'

The snitch added, 'The money is irresistible because she sure has sensational spending habits but the real pride for her with this book is to tell the world about what it was like to be married to Mick, despite all his shortcomings, and why she stayed with him. It's an amazing story.'

Hall famously ended her nine-year marriage to the Stone rocker in 1999, blaming his incessant infidelity.

She later told the Daily Mail, 'I'd come home and there'd be things from other girls lying around, and then I'd started finding items next to the bed like earrings or a ring. It was obvious.'
