How to get into ...

Cheryl Cole to design for Topshop?

Marie Claire Fashion news: Fashion for relief, Cheryl Cole

Could Cheryl Cole be the latest celebrity to bag her own clothing line?

The fashion world is abuzz with rumours that Sir Philip Green is courting the Girls Aloud star for her own Topshop line, on the advice of Kate Moss.

The supermodel hit it off with Mrs Cole, after becoming a regular in the X Factor set.

A source snitched to the News of the World,  'Cheryl and Kate instantly hit it off. They were both gushing about each other all night. When Cheryl said she wanted to get into high street fashion, Kate got very, very animated. It's very likely to happen next year.'

Taking the singer under her wing, Moss is reportedly now negotiating the deal with the Topshop mogul on Cole's behalf.

Yes - i think Cheryl is a very down to earth, "normal" woman and i would buy her designs even though she is a bit on the skinny side. Maybe she should promote a range that uses models that have a fuller figure to promote "normal models" and "real women".

I would NEVER buy this range! It astounds me that everyone has conveniently forgotten that Cheryl Cole has proved herself to be violent and racist. I am definitely not buying into someone that shows this kind of behaviour and seems to get away with it.

Er, as lovely as Mrs Cole is she is not trained in design so essentially it wouldn't be her doing it. I don't think this is such a good idea, remember how much Madges collection for H&M bombed!?!?

Err hello??? of course I would buy her clothing range!! Have you seen the way she dressses?? she is very fashionable and down to earth and I love the clothes she wears.

Yeh ofcourse :]

oh no! cheryl is a chav - and has a violent temper which she covers up by pretending to be overly emotional. She stayed with ashley just for publicity (why else?) and I am dissapointed people see her as an icon.
Comment by mag-addict on December 17 20:03

Nah I wouldn't buy her designs, I'd rather stick with Kate Moss.

omg! I would love to! It would be the best thing ever!!

i'm not sure- just because she is a famous singer- gorgous looking, and married to a footie player, what makes her a design expert?????? It's the same with coleen rooney writing her own style book- what makes her such an expert just because she's married a football player and has millions?
however- cheryl cole is one of my style icon's as i think she always looks on trend, but adds her own edge to every outfit. so maybe, maybe not.....

I wouldn't buy anything from her. I find to be annoying and lacking when it comes to having her own style and individuality. Any fashion line will be mainly someone else's designs that she just adds her own touches to and nothing truly original or of her own design. Its contrived fashion
